Sergey Buchin will be joining Alevo as the Chief Operating Officer. Sergey’s experience prior to Alevo includes key leadership roles in manufacturing, investing, and consulting at companies such as Intercomp, InvesTEK, Arbat Consulting, and BSK. He has a Bachelor’s degree in law from Saint Petersburg University, and has studied at and received degrees from Russian State Institute for Intellectual Property and Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Alan Greenshields, who has served as interim COO, will return to his previous role as Chief Technology Officer.
Alevo has also appointed Oleg Petrov to a newly created position Chief Commercial Officer. Oleg’s experience prior to joining includes leading sales functions in major corporations such as Alrosa, Uralkali, Belarusian Potash Company and Philips Consumer Electronics. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the Academy of Economics in Moscow. “Sergey and Oleg bring a wealth of talent and experience to Alevo. I look forward to adding their professionalism to the company.”, said Vladislav Baumgartner Alevo CEO.
Additionally, Alevo announces the departure of Alevo USA President Christopher Christiansen. Mr. Christiansen was instrumental in creating Alevo and the entire organization would like to thank him for his contribution.
250-kilowatts of Alevo Battery Technology will become part of the Duke Energy Microgrid Research Center in Mount Holly, North Carolina.
